The Lindy DVI EDID Emulator with Cloning is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV / KVM Extenders, Switches and Splitters. It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the PC or Server awake for remote access over IP.

Problems can occur when using various AV devices such as KVM Switches, Splitters and Extenders amongst others. These devices are often unable to pass the EDID information back to the source device. This emulator allows the user to clone the EDID information from a display which can be provided to the source prior to the installation of any intermediary devices.

This Emulator also includes pre-set EDID data which includes the most commonly used DVI resolutions and refresh rate combinations, which allows for simple installation as it can be used with many displays quickly without the need to clone EDID information.
